Spend And Raise - Cats Protection Bury St Edmunds

Abandoned at just 18 months old Socks is a very pretty black and white girl with white socks and a white moustache! She is very friendly and playful and loves fuss and attention. She has been used to children but is not keen on dogs, we don't know how she would get on with other cats.

Gorgeous ginger boy Thierry is a large, loveable ginger tom, 7 years old. He loves a fuss and is very affectionate. He has been used to living with other cats. He has come into us because his owners got two large dogs to replace one that died and this was too much for poor Thierry, he tried to move in with the neighbours but the resident cat didn’t think much to that! So he has been given up for adoption. Thierry has been used to a large roaming area so we will be looking for a rural home for him

Gizmo is a 7½ year black and white boy.. He is friendly,  likes a fuss and loves sleeping on his large bean bag. Gizmo does not like dogs but  should be OK in a home with older children. He has come in to us as his owner is moving into rented accommodation where pets are not allowed.

Penny is about a year old, a small white and black girl, she has a black tail with a white tip at the end. Penny is still a big kitten really and loves playing very active games with her toys. She has been a stray so we don’t know how well she would get on with young children or dogs.

Timmy is a 16 month old tabby and white neutered male. He is very gentle, enjoys a fuss, tummy rubs and playing. He has a lovely purr when being stroked. Timmy has come into our care after a marriage breakup and consequently he was being left alone for long periods so his owner thought it would be better for Timmy to be found a new home.

Timmy is used to children and having other cats around, we do not know how he would get on with a dog.

Lilly and Tyson are thought to be about 7 months and a year respectively. Both are lovely looking cats who have come in from the same household. Tyson is very friendly while Lilly is a little more reserved at the moment. We are looking for a home where they can stay together.
